Two men were seriously injured in a stabbing in Mississauga Saturday evening, police say.
Peel Regional Police responded to the area of Dundas Street West and Parkerhill Road shortly after 5 p.m. following reports of an altercation and possible stabbing.
Police later confirmed in a social media post that two men had been stabbed. Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Updates on their conditions are unknown.
Additional information about the victims, including their ages, places of residence, and whether they were known to the suspects, has not been released.
Investigators say a man was taken into custody, while police continued to search the area for a possible second suspect.
Police have not shared details about the altercation that led to the stabbing.
The public was asked to avoid the area as the investigation continued.
