Arrowsmith golf club keeps its founder’s vision alive 30 years later

Qualicum Beach golf and country club offers smooth greens, breathtaking views and community spirit
Pat Jiggins and his family work every day to provide an unforgettable golf experience at Arrowsmith Golf and Country Club. In doing so, they’re also honouring a Qualicum legacy.
“Founder Mike Jiggins, who passed away 12 years ago, gave us so many great values in the business he made. We strive to continue this legacy through our daily actions,” says Pat Jiggins, co-owner.
Arrowsmith celebrated 30 years in June and will honour Mike on his birthday, Sept. 9.
Every year, the club raises money in Mike’s name for scholarships for local high school students. As one of his lifelong initiatives, nine per cent of proceeds day are contributed.

A tour around the course
Designed for year-round play the course features an 18-hole, par 61 layout, with two Par 5s, three Par 4s and 13 Par 3s.
Hole 12 will take your breath away at 170 yards and an elevated tee 40 feet above the green, showcasing unforgettable Qualicum scenery.
“We want our guests to have an affordable and enjoyable experience they won’t forget,” Jiggins says.

Become a member or learn the game
Arrowsmith welcomes both beginners and experienced golfers, with memberships options including unlimited annual golf or Arrowsmith’s transferable corporate golf pass.
Full members have an exclusive 10-day advance window to book tee times, while the public can book seven days in advance.

On-course strategy and management
Hour-long private lessons are available in two- to four-lesson packages and five-to eight-lesson packages.
Hour-long group lessons are also available for two golfers or three to four golfers.
Looking for a tune-up? Book a 45-minute pitching and driver lesson or a two-hour putting lesson.
