Bradley Soccer’s Liam Healey has been named the Missouri Valley Conference’s Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the second match week of the 2026 season!
This freshman is making some noise!
Liam Healey earned his first Missouri Valley Conference weekly honor after being named the MVC Player of the Week for the second match week of the 2026 season. Healey recorded his second goal of the season against Green Bay late in the first half on a penalty kick, pushing his season total to two goals. During match week two, Healey recorded one goal, four shots, and three shots on goal in 131 minutes of action while starting both contests against Omaha and Green Bay.
He becomes the first Brave to earn the weekly honor since Jack Douglas in 2021 and the first Bradley true freshman to receive the honor since Christian Okeke in 2013. Healey is currently tied for second in the MVC in total goals with fellow Bradley Brave Mitch Coughlon. He also ranks in the top 10 in shots on goal and the top five in points.
