Clean air is important for a healthy home. On days when smoke or pollution levels spike, people may experience shortness of breath, coughing or general breathing discomfort, particularly if they have chronic respiratory conditions. According to Health Canada, using a portable air purifier that can filter fine particles is one of the most effective ways to protect your indoor environment from smoke.
Air purifiers can make your home air quality noticeably cleaner and safer, which is ideal in instances like this. We spotted the MORENTO Smart Air Purifier for 51 per cent off on Amazon Canada (which is currently massively marked down), along with nine other devices with more than 1,600 reviews to back them up. The details
The smart air purifier will help keep your home’s air quality clean and comfortable, especially during wildfire season. Its high‑efficiency dual‑intake HEPA filtration captures particles as small as 0.3 microns, making it ideal for large rooms up to 1,076 sq. ft.
It features quiet sleep mode, four fan speeds and automatic air‑quality sensing to make it easy to maintain fresher, cleaner air day and night.
With Wi‑Fi connectivity, you can monitor air quality and adjust settings in real time through the Havaworks app — or hands‑free via Alexa or Google Assistant.
What reviewers are saying

The same person also confirmed it “has significantly reduced the lingering smell of cooking and pets.” However, they said, “The highest fan speed reaches about 60dB, which is loud enough to be distracting if you are trying to watch TV.”
