Two people, including one from Oshawa, are facing charges for the October 2025 shooting of a man in Brampton.

It happened around 10:40 p.m. October 19, 2025 near Dawnridge Trail and Clifton Court in the area of Kennedy Road and Sandalwood Parkway.

When Peel police arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Last month, a 19-year-old from Sudbury and an Oshawa man, who was 17-years-old at the time of the shooting were both arrested.

The pair were charged with:

Aggravated Assault
Attempted Murder Using Firearm
Carrying Concealed Weapon
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
Discharge Firearm with Intent
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Possession Property Obtained by Crime
Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

Both accused have been held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.

The name of the Oshawa man cannot be published under the Youth Criminal Justice Act because he was 17 at the time of the crime.
