CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have signed American defensive lineman Daniel Grzesiak, the team announced on Thursday.
Grzesiak was signed by the National Football League’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and spent the season on the practice roster before signing with the Louisville Kings of the United Football League. He played a total of 12 games for the Kings earlier this year.
He finished his collegiate career at Cincinnati where he played and started 12 games during the 2023 season. Grzesiak made 46 tackles including 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and three pass breakups with the Bearcats. He spent the 2022 season at Utah State where he was an honourable mention all-Mountain West after suiting up at Nevada from 2018-21.
