ROADS CLOSED: Multi-vehicle crash closes intersection in Brampton

One person has been injured and police have closed an intersection in Brampton following a collision on Thursday.

Peel Regional Police say the crash happened around 5:20 p.m. at Murdoch Drive and Flowertown Avenue in Brampton, about 1.5 kilometres north of Queen Street West and Chinguacousy Road.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision and a man in his 30s was injured. The extent of the man’s injuries were not disclosed.

Police say both drivers remained at the scene.

The intersection of Murdoch Drive and Flowertown Avenue has been closed and police say drivers should avoid the area if possible.
