Formula 1 makes its way to the legendary Autodromo Nazionale Monza for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix and the 13th round of the season, as the fight for the title becomes more intense.

Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes will be competing in his home race, having already taken the lead of the Drivers’ Championship with 242 points, 59 points ahead of teammate George Russell and Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari.

Mercedes also dominates the Constructors’ Championship with 425 points, followed by Ferrari (338 points), McLaren (263 points) and Red Bull Racing (186 points).

But Antonelli’s return to his native country is tainted with controversy. The young 20-year-old driver has to start from the back of the field due to a power-unit penalty despite dominating the championship and winning six races during the year.
