STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Penn women’s golf begins its fall portion of the 2026-27 season on Monday as the Quakers travel to State College, Pa. for the Nittany Lion Invitational. Penn State is hosting the Nittany Lion Invitational on Monday, Sept. 7 and Tuesday, Sept. 8 at the Penn State Blue Course. Penn will bring the whole team to the tournament, with five members competing in the lineup and three as individuals.

WHAT TO KNOW
-Monday’s lineup will be Mi Li, Adrienne Ahn-Upton, Claire Lu, Madeleine Zang and Juliet Oh.
Maggie Ni, Chelsea Nguyen and Sophia Lu will compete as individuals.
-Pennsylvania sophomore Mi Li was a unanimous selection as first-team All-Ivy by the conference coaches in 2025-26. She also made the Ivy League All-Championship Team last spring.
-Penn finished fourth at the Ivy League Championships a year ago.
-The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced its All-American Scholars for the 2025-26 academic year, and the list featured three University of Pennsylvania players: rising senior Maggie Ni, rising junior Claire Lu, and rising sophomore Adrienne Ahn-Upton.
-The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and include a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50. A total of 1,551 women’s collegiate golfers across 403 NCAA and NAIA programs were recognized with this prestigious honor.
