Early Sunday morning, a shooting inside a home near Leslie Street and William F. Bell Parkway in Richmond Hill resulted in one person being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. York Regional Police responded to the incident around 4 a.m., and the suspects fled the scene. While the authorities assure the public there is no immediate threat, a large police presence remains as the investigation continues. Meanwhile, in Mississauga, Peel Regional Police are on the lookout for a suspect involved in 32 vehicle break-ins in the area of Alpha Mills Road, Falconer Drive, and Plainsman Road.
These break-ins occurred on September 3 between 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., with the suspect smashing windows or entering unlocked vehicles to steal valuables. The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 30 years old, with a medium build, wearing a jacket with ‘POLO’ on the back collar, joggers, and two-tone shoes with a white sole.
