HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Saint Joseph’s men’s golf team opened its 2026-27 season with a second-place finish at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial on Sunday.

How It Happened

• As a team, the Hawks entered Sunday’s final round in third place and posted a team score of one-under-par 287 to finish second overall in the 14-team field with a score of 290-286-287/863.

Noah Moelter tied for 11th place overall with a three-round score of 74-67-73/214 (-2).  

Lannon Boyd finished tied for 14th place with total of 72-72-71/215 (-1).  

Sam Feeney tied for 27th place with a total score of 72-72-75/219 (+3).  

George Williamson, Jr. shot 76-75-70/221 (+5) and tied for 40th.

Michael Henry, Jr. finished tied for 52nd place with a score of 72-79-73/224 (+8).

• Competing as an individual, Tyler Leyden shot 76-77-81/234 (+18) and finished in 80th place.

• Seton Hall won the team title by 10 strokes as the Pirates shot 278-286-289/853 at the par-72, 7,125-yard Seven Oaks Golf Club.

• Bucknell’s Charlie Barrickman won medalist honors with a three-round score of 69-71-69/209(-7).
