With its many amenities and beautiful landscape, the North Okanagan is an inviting destination for many retirees. No wonder those same community features also support a young-at-heart mindset!
It’s why Black Press Events is excited to return for its Young at Heart Seniors Expo, coming to the Prestige Vernon Lodge Wednesday, Oct. 7.
A vibrant celebration of healthy, active living for Okanagan seniors, the expo brings together trusted community resources, wellness experts, and engaging demonstrations and activities – a chance to inspire connection, health and joy at every age.
“The North Okanagan offers the perfect mix of essential resources and exciting opportunities for people of all ages to build rewarding connections – sometimes you just need to know where to start,” says Madison Worth, Black Press Media Events Supervisor.
“We bring those connections together under one roof, letting you explore, ask questions and be inspired to turn the page on the next chapter.”

For those embracing healthy aging at home, support with maintenance, accessibility and daily chores can leave more time for the fun stuff – learn about those opportunities as well as some of the North Okanagan’s inviting senior residences that offer a built-in sense of community.
On the wellness side, eyecare and hearing health are vital to staying connected with loved ones and building new friendships. Learn about current tests and treatments, the latest technology and more to help you live well.
You’ll even have the chance to win one of two $300 travel vouchers, courtesy of Craig Travel!
