A full-scale emergency response drill is scheduled for Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at EIA.

During the exercise, travelers and visitors may notice emergency vehicles, flashing lights and loud sounds both inside the terminal and on the surrounding grounds.

In a statement, officials emphasized that the drills play a vital role in keeping staff ready for any genuine emergency situation.

Normal flight schedules and day-to-day airport activities will continue without interruption.

The exercise supports the airport’s participation in Canadian Airports Safety Week, taking place September 21–25.
