We’re in the middle of a busy racing weekend. The Vuelta a España is coming to an end, but on the other side of the Atlantic, we’re also keeping a close eye on preparations for the World Championships. That’s because the Quebec and Montreal Grand Prix races are on the schedule leading up to the World Championships.
In the French-speaking part of Canada, they can once again count on a strong field of competitors. This year’s field—partly due to the World Championships—includes slightly fewer sprinters, but all the more climbers.
Evenepoel, Pidcock, Del Toro & Seixas line up in MontrealWe’ll see Remco Evenepoel (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) and Paul Seixas (Decathlon CMA CGM) in action for the first time since the Tour de France, while Isaac del Toro (UAE Emirates-XRG) will also be competing.
The latter will be racing alongside Jhonatan Narváez, Tim Wellens, Florian Vermeersch, and Brandon McNulty, among others. Visma | Lease a Bike, on the other hand, will field Matteo Jorgenson, Bart Lemmen, and Wilco Kelderman.
Other riders to watch include Quinn Simmons, Giulio Ciccone, Juan Ayuso (Lidl-Trek), Michael Matthews (Jayco AlUla), Mauro Schmid (Jayco AlUla), Ben Healy (EF Education-EasyPost), and Tom Pidcock of Pinarello-Q36.5, who is in top form.Start list & Numbers for the 2026 Quebec & Montreal Grand Prix
