A 21-year-old man featuring on Manitoba’s most-wanted list was arrested in Winnipeg’s West End Wednesday evening.
The Winnipeg Police Service says Benjamyn Beaulieu was arrested on Lipton Street with a loaded Glock handgun.
Beaulieu had outstanding warrants against him for multiple alleged firearms and assault-related offences.
Police allege on March 3, Beaulieu went to a downtown home with a gun and threatened, assaulted and robbed a woman in a domestic incident.
On July 3, police say he pulled out a loaded gun and waved it at people while at a social gathering in the southwest area of the city.
Beaulieu has been charged with armed robbery with firearm, forcible confinement, assault with weapon, utter threats to kill or cause bodily harm, and more. He was detained in custody.
The charges against him have not been tested in court.
