Ruth and Naomi’s Mission hosts 10th annual cycling fundraiser in Chilliwack

An annual cycling fundraiser will be rolling through Chilliwack for its 10th year at the end of summer.
The family-friendly Ride For RAN, which supports programming for Ruth and Naomi’s Mission (RAN), returns on Saturday, Sept. 19.
Every dollar raised helps provide hope, support, and essential services to individuals and families facing homelessness, poverty, food insecurity, and crisis in the community, according to RAN.
The event is open to all levels of riders and it starts and ends at Fairfield Park.
There are four ride lengths this year, including the return of the “mini ride” for young cyclists. The other three route lengths are: 23-kilometre, 40-kilometre, and 83-kilometre.
Riders will cycle through scenic areas of Chilliwack all while raising money for the work that RAN does.
Registration deadline is Monday, Sept. 14 and includes nutrition stations, door prize entry, a post-ride lunch, and access to family activities and vendors.
The 10th annual Ride For RAN is set for Saturday, Sept. 19 at Fairfield Park (46129 Clare Ave.). It starts at 8:30 a.m. with different start times for each route. For more, go to: ranmission.ca/events/ride-for-ran-2026.
