It is with sad hearts that we announce on August 31, 2026 Robert Kenneth Day passed away. Known to many as Ken Day Accordion Centre. Born on June 13, 1930, he lived and worked most of his life in Courtenay.
Ken and his wife Yvonne came to Courtenay in 1952. Built a home on Mission Hill, back when you could see parts of Courtenay, the glacier, Forbidden Plateau and Mt Washington. Now Dad and all the views are gone.
