SAMMAMISH, Wash. – No. 13 Pepperdine men’s golf is in a tie for 8th place out of 12 teams after the first two rounds of the Sahalee Players Championship.
Freshman Luke Ringkamp was the headliner for the Waves, firing one-under to currently sit in a tie for third place overall. He was one-under (71) in round one before going even (72) in round two.
Senior Willy Walsh sits at five-over through the opening 36 holes. Walsh was stellar in round one, posting a two-under round of 70, before firing a 79 in round two.
Ayden Fynaut was third on Pepperdine’s leaderboard with a seven-over performance. Another freshman making his Pepperdine debut, he improved from a nine-over (81) first round to register a two-under (70) in the second round, the low round on the team in the afternoon.

Competing as an individual, Luke Dariotis was eight shots over par on the day, good for a tie in 33rd place. Dariotis shot a 75 in the opening round before carding a 77 in the afternoon.
Sophomore Oscar Bach, making just his fourth collegiate appearance, recorded a 15-over on the day, improving from nine-over (81) in round one to six-over (78) in the second.
Byungho Lee rounded out the Waves lineup with a 22-over, making a slight improvement from 12-over (84) in the opening round to 10-over (82) in round two.
