PENETANGUISHENE – Swing By, Penetanguishene’s new indoor golf destination, will celebrate its official Grand Opening on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Following a successful soft launch, owner Robbie MacIntyre is inviting the community to come see the facility, experience its state-of-the-art Golfzon simulators and learn more about what Swing By brings to the local golf community.
Swing By gives golfers of all skill levels a place to play and practice year-round, with Golfzon simulator technology offering hundreds of courses from around the world. Features including moving swing plates, high-speed swing analysis, automatic tee-up and multiple practice modes create a realistic indoor golf experience, while the facility’s lounge provides a comfortable place to relax with food and beverages before or after a round.
“We wanted to create a place where people could enjoy golf year-round, whether they’re serious about working on their game or simply looking for a fun way to spend time with friends and family,” said Robbie MacIntyre, owner of Swing By.
The Grand Opening will take place from on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include simulator demonstrations, contests and giveaways, light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the Swing By team. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 12 p.m.
The event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend.
