Follow us on Google Discover The Indiana Fever have put forward Aliyah Boston to be part of this year’s All-WNBA team, but some fans are not happy with the team’s choice.
Boston is having a great season with the Fever and is currently averaging 16.9 points per game, which is a career high.
However, both Kelsey Mitchell (25.0) and Caitlin Clark (22.5) have higher averages ahead of the WNBA returning this week.
In turn, with Mitchell and Clark being the clear standouts for the Fever this year, many fans have hit out at the Indiana outfit after they posted about Boston being put into the All-WNBA team.
Fans question Aliyah Boston All-WNBA nomination
The Fever made a tweet with the caption: “Aliyah Boston for All-WNBA. She is averaging a career-high 16.9 PPG & 40.8 3P%, 10 games of 20+ points and 11 double-doubles so far this season.”
One fan then responded: “It’s funny you promote every player but the face of the league, Caitlin. She should be promoted for 1st team All-WNBA and MVP. This is dirty work Fever.”
A second stated: “Don’t agree at all…KM is a much better choice & CC is a no brainer.”
Another commented: “So you guys really gave up on CC. I can’t believe this. Every day this organisation becomes less professional and deplorable. I have never seen anything like this.”

A fourth went as far as to respond to the tweet by writing: “Insufferable organisation.”
And a fifth added: “Have you guys noticed in the last week the FEVER are pushing 4 people for awards and none of them are CC with the stats she has.”
Clark previously made it into the All-WNBA team in 2024 but was absent last year when Mitchell was the only player included from the Fever’s side.
