One of Mississauga’s biggest food festivals is even bigger this year, with nearly 100 vendors and extended hours.
Taste of Cooksville, organized by the Cooksville Business Improvement Area is back on Sept. 19 and 20 for a weekend of delicious food, live music, family entertainment, and more in the historic Cooksville neighbourhood. Like previous years, the festival is free for everyone to attend.
There’s even more time to enjoy the food and festivities with extended hours, running from 11 am to 11 pm on Saturday, Sept. 19 and 11 am to 8 pm on Sunday, Sept. 20.
Nearly one hundred vendors and food trucks will be lined up along 47 Dundas St W near Hurontario, offering sweet and savoury cuisine from around the world. There’ll be a ton of variety, making it easy to turn a trip to the festival into a full afternoon or evening of eating and exploring.
Pair your food with a refreshingly cold drink from the beer garden, presented by Port Credit’s Old Credit Brewing Co.
While trying some delicious eats, enjoy nonstop live music and performances on the main stage, bouncy inflatables, workshops and activities for the kids, and a brand-new car show putting an exciting lineup of vehicles on display.

Taste of Cooksville is one of the city’s most popular yearly events since 2019, and is now among the biggest food festivals in the GTA.
The festival is presented by Cooksville BIA and sponsored by Brixen Developments, Mattamy Homes, Sheridan College, Planet Fitness, CRD College of Healthcare, Interlinx Security Solutions, Mississauga Arts Council, Jolt, Old Credit Brewing, Print 2 Go Mississauga, Domino’s Pizza Cooksville, Mario’s BBQ, Valencia Jewelry and Aqua-Tots Swim School in partnership with Trillium Health Partners Foundation.
Known as one of Mississauga’s historic neighbourhoods, Cooksville combines small-town charm with major events happening all the time in this bustling community.
