A Verdun restaurant caught fire early Sunday in what police believe was an arson attack.
Montreal police were alerted to the fire around 2:30 a.m., spokesperson Jeanne Drouin said. After arriving at the restaurant on Verdun St. near 2nd Ave., a police officer put out the blaze with a fire extinguisher, she said.
