LG’s ‘C’ range of OLED TVs are the ones we recommend for most people, with the C6 being the latest in the lineup in 2026. Although the LG G6 is the most premium model, it costs considerably more money and the upgrades aren’t probably worth it for most people. The LG C6 however is still a high-end, high quality TV, that has some truly excellent picture quality, along with a range of other features and functionalities. The LG OLED evo C6 combines 4K self-emissive OLED contrast with the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, Dolby Vision, FILMMAKER MODE, and a native 120Hz refresh rate that can go up to 165Hz (with VRR) when PC gaming (plus G-Sync compatibility, FreeSync Premium, and 0.1ms-rated pixel response time – perfect for competitive play). You get four HDMI 2.1 inputs, Dolby Atmos (great for that home-theater experience), and webOS 2026 with its ample smart-TV capabilities. Everything considered, this is an excellent 65-inch OLED TV, and at just $1,599, it’s near its lowest ever price on Amazon in this deal.

What we like about this LG 65-inch OLED evo C6 TV
65-inch OLED evo panel
The LG OLED evo C6 uses a 65-inch self-emissive OLED panel with more than 8.3 million individually controlled pixels at its native 4K resolution. Because each pixel generates its own light rather than relying on a separate backlight, the C6 can switch individual pixels off for exceptionally deep blacks and precise contrast without the blooming associated with local-dimming LCD TVs.
Brightness Booster
LG’s Brightness Booster is designed to increase the impact of bright highlights while retaining OLED’s pixel-level light control. This is particularly useful for HDR movies and games, where bright reflections, lighting effects, and specular highlights can appear directly alongside very dark portions of an image.
Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3
The Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 handles image processing, upscaling, and picture optimization. Its processing system analyzes incoming material to adjust aspects such as detail, color, contrast, and sound, while AI Super Upscaling 4K is designed to improve lower-resolution sources before displaying them on the 3840 x 2160 panel.
Dolby Vision and HDR10
Dolby Vision support gives the C6 access to dynamic HDR metadata in compatible content, allowing image parameters to be adjusted according to the material rather than relying exclusively on a single static HDR configuration. HDR10 and HLG support broaden compatibility with other HDR sources and broadcast material.
Native 120Hz with VRR up to 165Hz
The panel has a native refresh rate of 120Hz, but compatible PC gaming configurations can use variable refresh rates reaching up to 165Hz. This distinction is important: 165Hz is an enhanced PC gaming capability rather than the TV’s standard native refresh rate for all sources.
G-Sync and FreeSync Premium
NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium support make the C6 particularly flexible for gaming PCs. Variable refresh rate allows compatible hardware to synchronize frame presentation with the TV, reducing visible tearing and judder when game performance varies.
Four HDMI 2.1 connections
Four HDMI 2.1 inputs provide considerable flexibility for connecting multiple modern sources. A gaming PC, PlayStation, Xbox, media player, and other equipment can be accommodated more easily than on TVs that provide high-bandwidth gaming functionality on only a subset of their HDMI ports.
Dolby Atmos and 2.2-channel audio
The integrated 2.2-channel audio system supports Dolby Atmos, giving the C6 more audio capability than a basic stereo television arrangement. It can also work with compatible external audio hardware through LG’s WOW Orchestra functionality when users want a more substantial home-theater setup.
Who should buy this LG C6 TV deal?
The LG OLED evo C6 is aimed at users looking for a premium television that can handle movies, streaming, sports, and high-end gaming without specializing exclusively in one area. Its OLED panel is particularly attractive for cinematic viewing because black areas can be reproduced without the elevated black floor or backlight blooming inherent to conventional LCD technology.
Movie enthusiasts benefit from Dolby Vision, FILMMAKER MODE, HDR10, and pixel-level contrast control. FILMMAKER MODE is particularly useful for viewers who prefer presentation choices intended to preserve the content’s original creative characteristics rather than applying aggressive motion processing or picture enhancement.
Gaming is another major strength. Native 120Hz operation, PC VRR up to 165Hz, a claimed 0.1ms response time, G-Sync compatibility, FreeSync Premium, and four HDMI 2.1 inputs make the C6 unusually well equipped for a living-room TV that may be connected to both consoles and a gaming PC.
The main considerations remain those inherent to OLED. Sustained brightness behavior differs from Mini-LED LCD technology, and long-term exposure to persistent static elements still makes OLED-care functionality relevant despite the protective systems built into modern panels.
