$32 million lottery win

Someone who recently purchased a lottery ticket in Surrey is $32 million richer this weekend.
The BC Lottery Corporation announced that someone’s Lotto 6/49 ticket matched the 10-digit raffle number during Saturday night’s draw, to win the $32 million Gold Ball Jackpot.
The winning jackpot numbers were 00461505-01 and the winning ticket was purchased in Surrey.
Prize winners have 52 weeks from the date of the draw to claim their winnings.
So far in 2026, B.C. lottery players have redeemed more than $53 million in winnings from Lotto 6/49.
