Lynx vs. Fever prediction
Tuesday night provides this delectable treat of a matchup between two of the WNBA’s best offenses butting heads in the Hoosier State. While the Fever have the slight advantage across the board with the league’s top PPG, FG%, and 3FG% team splits, Minnesota is one of the few teams whose defense could inhibit those stellar marks.
In addition to the Lynx’s podium finishes in those previously listed statistics, they also possess a top-three defense in terms of opponent PPG (83.8) and FG% (43.6%). This didn’t matter much in the two sides’ last duel in August, when the Fever dropped 100 in their loss, but Minnesota’s offense shot over 50% from the floor that game; anything close to that can result in a similar outcome.
In their first game back from the FIBA Women’s World Cup break, the Lynx flinched a bit in their 93-81 defeat to the New York Liberty. They were able to right the ship against the Connecticut Sun, the league’s second-worst team, to end a rare three-game losing streak.
Minnesota knows many eyes will be on this game because of Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston. That could bring the best out of Cheryl Reeve’s side. This game should be a shootout with how good these two offenses are, but the Western Conference side has a slight advantage in being the more complete team. Take Miles and Co. to emerge victorious by single digits in a rather high-scoring affair for Lynx standards.
Prediction: Lynx 98, Fever 93

Lynx vs. Fever best bet
While the Fever were held to their lowest point total last game against the Washington Mystics since July 15, the contest featured Boston battling foul trouble from the first quarter on. With the superstar on the court, few teams can match the offensive output Indiana can display on a given night; keyword: FEW teams. Minnesota is among the select few WNBA teams that can.
They’ve put north of 80 points on the board in three straight affairs, and their opponents have averaged 90.3 PPG in those matchups. This is a rarity for a team that typically allows less than 84 points on a night, but the Lynx haven’t been as stingy on the defensive end since returning to action after the international break. Minnesota has to be careful not to allow Indy to shoot the lights out at their home Gainbridge Fieldhouse court. However, a specific winning side is not entailed in this bet; points galore is all bettors should care about when taking this line.

Best Caitlin Clark prop bet
A 10-assist line for a player always poses a bit of risk, even for someone like Clark, who averages a WNBA-leading 8.4 assists per game. That being said, she has hit that line in three of the last four games for her side, with the sole miss coming in the team’s loss to the Mystics yesterday afternoon. Back on August 2 when the Lynx and Fever last met, Clark struggled from the field, finishing 8-of-18 with just 19 points. Her value, however, came from her 10 assists in that contest even if her side took the loss.
Casual basketball fans who don’t watch every WNBA game have only seen Clark scoring a surplus of points, but her best asset is perhaps her assists. Even against the scary defense the Lynx possess, take Indiana’s star to reach double-digit dishes.
