Parents and students may be debating the value of a four-year college education, but college-going football fanatics can definitely score a good deal when it comes to NFL Sunday Ticket.
The regular price for the programming package, which includes all of the Sunday out-of-market NFL games not broadcast on local TV stations, is $480 (but non-students can still get a break on NFL Sunday Ticket, too).

Students can get NFL Sunday Ticket for $119, and for $10, they can add the beloved NFL RedZone channel, a live TV show that tracks all the scoring in Sunday afternoon games. That is a savings of $361 on NFL Sunday Ticket and a savings of $393, compared to the $522 regular price for returning subscribers who also get NFL RedZone.
The regular season starts on Thursday, Sept. 4, with the reigning Super Bowl champs, the Philadelphia Eagles, hosting the Dallas Cowboys in a game broadcast nationally on NBC. The next night, on Sept. 5, YouTube will stream for free the Week 1 game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs from São Paulo, Brazil.
Two days later, on Sunday, Sept. 7, NFL Sunday Ticket will air eight NFL games in the 1 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET broadcast windows, as shown on CBS and Fox. NFL Sunday Ticket will include all of those games not broadcast by your local CBS and Fox channels.
