TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men’s golfer Bailey Sutter has been named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, the league announced Wednesday. Sutter earned his first top 10 finish during the Crimson Tide’s team victory at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational earlier this week.
Earned his first-ever top 10 result in just his third collegiate tournament of his career
Finished 1-over par 211 (69-69-73) to place tied for ninth as Alabama claimed the team tournament title – the first of the fall season
Tied for third overall in par 3 scoring (-1, 2.92)
Alabama collected the most birdies in the field (42) as Sutter picked up the second most on the team (10)
Placed within the top 25 at each of UA’s three tournaments during the fall
