With just a few short weeks away from one of the biggest boxing cards ever featuring undisputed super middleweight champion, Canelo Alvarez, taking on undisputed welterweight king, Terence Crawford, on Sept. 13, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada, all of the pieces to the massive event are starting to fall into place.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO, Dana White, recently unveiled the full fight card (see here and here), and now he and his partners have revealed who will be calling all of the action in and out of the ring. From the referee, judges, analysts and hosts, White and Co. are stacking the deck in order to deliver a star-studded experience live on Netflix.

Leading the charge is none other that UFC commentator, Jon Anik, who will be calling all of the action ringside alongside one of the most experienced voices in the game, Max Kellerman, who will be making his return to the sport after an extended hiatus. Filling out the trio is Andrew Ward, who has made quite a career for himself away from the ring after retiring seven years ago with a perfect record 32-0.

But before all of the action gets started, Mario Lopez, alongside ex-boxing champion Antonio Tarver and longtime boxing writer, Mark Kriegel, as well as Mike Coppinger, will be taking care of host duties to bring you all the pre-fight festivities, as well as the in-between chatter during breaks in fights. Leading the way backstage with in-depth fighter interviews is longtime reporter, Jim Gray, who will be joined by Heidi Androl to give you a peak of all the behind the scenes action, as well as gather pre and post fight thoughts from fighters and trainers.

One noticeable absence is that of longtime UFC ring announcer, Bruce Buffer, who isn’t slated to be a part of the event, as his big brother, Michael Buffer — known as the longtime voice of boxing — will handle in-ring announcing duties, while UFC’s Joe Martinez will take care of the “prelim” fights. Bruce, meanwhile, will be in San Antonio that night for Noche UFC featuring Diego Lopes and Jean Silva. Still, it seems like a missed opportunity to have the Buffer brothers work the event together.

The third man in the ring for the main event will be referee Thomas Taylor, while the three ringside judges are Max Deluca, Steve Weisfeld and Tim Cheatham.
