Police in Surrey seek public’s help to identify South Asian fraud suspect

RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an alleged fraud. 

On September 22, at approximately 9:18 a.m., RCMP SPOSU responded to a reported fraud over $5,000. The complainant advised that a man attended his Fleetwood residence the night before and presented a fake bank draft and identification in purchasing his black 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck. 

The suspect is described as a South Asian male, approximately 30 years of age, standing 5’8” tall with a medium build and wearing a green shirt and black pants. (See photos.)
