Ava‘s lyrics about Lady Gaga are featured on the song “Don’t Click Play,” where she sings about the comparisons and questions why she should care about what people think of her.
“On X, that’s a real hot topic of conversation/She’s a sample, singing, Gaga imitation/But can’t Kings & Queens look good with Poker Faces?/But I’m loving myself, even if you hate it,” Ava sings on the song. The lyrics reference X, the social media app where people regularly give their opinions on celebrities as well as two different songs.
Ava makes reference to her own song “Kings & Queens” as well as Lady Gaga‘s hit “Poker Face” as she asks whether or not her alleged Lady Gaga copying is really that big of a deal.
