SURREY – Police in Surrey are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who presented a fraudulent bank draft in order to purchase a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck in Fleetwood last month.

In a statement, Surrey Police Service liaison Ian MacDonald says RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit personnel responded to a reported fraud of over $5,000 on Sept. 22, 2026, at approximately 9:18 a.m.

Police learned from a victim that a man attended his Fleetwood residence the night before and presented a fake bank draft and ID needed to purchase a black 2018 Ford F-150 pickup.
