Anaheim Ducks
Roger McQueen will make his NHL debut for the Ducks against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday (9:45 p.m. ET; Prime Video, KCOP-13, SNW). The No. 10 pick by Anaheim in the 2025 NHL Draft, McQueen was recalled from San Diego of the American Hockey League after leading the team with three goals in four AHL games. The 20-year-old forward, who signed his entry-level contract with the Ducks on April 18, practiced on the third line between Frank Vatrano and A.J. Greer. “It’s a great day, so very excited,” McQueen said. “Kind of waited for this moment for a while, so super excited. Obviously, just trying to get the win and just enjoy it. You only get this once, so it’s one of those things you want to enjoy.” … Forward Cutter Gauthier will miss his first game of the season with an upper-body injury. He has two goals this season and led Anaheim with 41 in 2025-26. Gauthier participated in drills at the start of practice Monday but left before line rushes. “We tried it yesterday in practice, but not a go,” coach Joel Quenneville said. … Forward Ryan Poehling (MCL sprain) was placed on injured reserve and will be out 6-8 weeks. He has two points (one goal, one assist) in five games this season.
