The Apple Valley Cruisers car club has donated close to $14,000 to support organizations within Summerland.
On Oct. 13, the car club provided multiple organizations with a total of $13,976, with funds raised at the Spring Fling and Endless Summer car shows.
The two shows, both held in Memorial Park, have drawn large crowds to see vintage and restored vehicles on display.
The organizations receiving the money included the Summerland Fire Department, Summerland Food Bank and Resource Centre, KidSport Summerland and others.
Jacques Lefebvre of the Apple Valley Cruisers said the car club also received support from the Scouts and Summerland Alliance Church, who were both present at the car shows.
