Several organic cheeses, including products from Quebec-based L’Ancêtre, are being recalled across Canada because of possible listeria contamination.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued the warning Wednesday, advising consumers not to eat the affected products, which include cheddar, Swiss cheese, mozzarella and shredded cheese blends.
The recall covers products sold under the L’Ancêtre, Farm Boy and Life Smart brands in packages ranging from 190 grams to two kilograms.
