Rainbow Six Siege Operation Split Fire is well underway, with new Defender Noor lighting up shield Attackers with his Horus Lance Launcher. Now that players have had a chance to adjust to his effect on strategy, the developers have released a mid-season update with content designed to push competitive gameplay to the limits, ensure Operators are well balanced on the field, rotate in fresh Ranked maps, and strengthen anti-cheat measures for PC players.
Rainbow Six Siege: Legend Division
The all-new Legend Division is officially live, a new solo queue competitive playlist for players looking to push above Champion. A new playlist that will open up with every mid-season update, it’s designed for the most elite Siege players, and focuses on the highest level of competitive play. Here’s what you need to know:
Y11S3 Legend Division runs now through December 1
Solo queue only
Uses Pro League map pool
Rewards include: Profile Banner, exclusive charm for top 100 players in each region
It will reset each season with seasonal rank resets
To access the Legend Division, you must meet the following security and progression requirements:
Secure Boot enabled
2FA app enabled
Currently have Champion rank
Have Clearance Level of 200 or more
Achieved Platinum rank or above in the previous season
Reputation Standing level three or higher
In anticipation for the release of Legend Division, a 50,000+ account Ban Wave has gone into effect targeting account sharers, sellers or ban evaders; reinforcing Siege’s ongoing commitment to maintaining game integrity and fairness as a top priority.
Secure Boot
A new PC security measure, Secure Boot supports Rainbow Six Siege’s R6 ShieldGuard anti-cheat efforts by verifying the components such as firmware, Windows, and drivers that are loaded when a PC starts are legitimate and trusted. Most players already have the required security features to play; others will need to enable TPM and Secure Boot in the BIO S/UEFI. Eligible PC players must have Secure Boot enabled in order to participate in the Legend Division.
The Secure Boot measurement is now a requirement because modern cheats take place deep within a PC’s system to avoid detection. Secure Boot strengthens the PC security environment, making it harder for cheats to hide and easier for R6 ShieldGuard to detect them.

To support fair and competitive gameplay and keep match experiences fresh, a number of Operators received a balancing update in the Operation Split Fire mid-season update.
