There was no trophy presentation after the Regina Thunder defeated the defending-champion Saskatoon Hilltops 44-19 in the Prairie Football Conference final Sunday at Leibel Field.
“(The Hilltops) didn’t bring the trophy,” said Regina’s Carwyn Williams, who scored touchdowns on a 100-yard kickoff return and 86-yard passing play to help unseat the reigning — but forgetful — conference champions.
“We want the bigger one!”
