Two men, ages 19 and 20, are in custody and face multiple charges after the pursuit of a stolen car early Monday ended with a Longueuil squad car being rammed.
There were no injuries in the incident, which began at 4:10 a.m when a witness in Longueuil’s St-Hubert sector reported a car theft in progress on Mountainview Blvd.
The suspects fled in the vehicle as police arrived but were tracked down soon after in Brossard, police said. A Longueuil police car was rammed by the vehicle before the suspects tried to flee on foot. They were quickly apprehended.
