The Londoner can boast victories over Wardley, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua since 2023. He has suffered two defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, however.
Usyk, 39, is currently considering his options after relinquishing three sanctioning body titles in June. Dubois is keen for a third fight with the Ukrainian but Warren suggested unification fights are being plotted.
Hrgovic is the IBF boss and Agit Kabayel holds the WBC title. Both are promoted by Warren. The WBA belt is currently owned by Murat Gassiev but the sanctioning body is expected to reinstate their ‘super’ belt for the Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua showdown on December 11.
“[Dubois will] fight in February, and we are going to look and see,” Warren told TalkSport.
“We have got a couple of shows coming up.
“We have got a big show on November 28 in Germany where the WBC champion Agit Kabayel is fighting Nelson Hysa…
“Let’s see the outcome of that because [Dubois-Kabayel] would be a great unification fight.
“Filip Hrgovic was [at Dubois-Wardley II]. He is the [IBF] champion, and he wanted a rematch as Daniel already has a win over him.
“That is the only loss on his record. So there are quite a few permutations, but he will be in a big fight.
“[Dubois] will be in big fights because he tells me he wants to earn lots of money, and the only way you earn lots of money is by being in big fights.”
As for what’s next for Wardley, Warren believes some time away is the first priority.
“He’s been learning on the job,” Warren said. “What he has done is phenomenal.
“He’s one of the nicest guys, and if he does return, we will get behind him.
“But for now, it’s all too soon, and it certainly won’t be till next year [that he returns].
“We have had no complaints from him; he took it like a man.”
