The fifth Golf Saskatchewan provincial amateur championship of 2025 concludes today at the North Battleford Golf and Country Club. It’s the Saskatchewan Mixed Championship with over 60 competitors taking part in the two-day, 36-hole stroke play competition. Today is the final round of 18-holes.

There is drag racing today at Saskatchewan International Raceway with Points Race Number 9 and Test and Tune. Qualifying starts at 9 a.m. with eliminations beginning around 12:30 p.m.

The 2025 Canada Summer Games conclude today in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Saskatchewan has a full contingent of 377 athletes and 85 coaches taking part in the 19 sports contested in the multi-sport event, representing 92 different communities from across the province. There is action today in Artistic Swimming, Women’s Baseball, Men’s Box Lacrosse, Cycling-Mountain Bike, Diving, Women’s Soccer, and Volleyball. Saskatchewan has 47 medals – 13 gold, 14 silver and 20 bronze – good for 6th place in the provincial standings.
