CFL Betting: CFL Bets and Player Props for Week 21

The 2026 CFL regular season concludes with a Week 21 slate shaped by playoff implications, quarterback changes and contrasting motivations.

Winnipeg enters its finale needing a victory to extend its postseason streak, while several teams have already secured their positions and are prioritizing player health. Those circumstances create intriguing betting opportunities, particularly in games featuring backup quarterbacks and significant roster changes.

Here are three picks for the final weekend, focusing on Winnipeg’s must-win matchup against BC, Edmonton’s visit to Saskatchewan and Hamilton’s home finale against Ottawa.

Best Bets and Picks for Week 21 of the 2026 CFL regular seasonWinnipeg Blue Bombers vs. BC Lions Winnipeg -7.5 (-110, BetMGM)

Winnipeg has considerably more at stake in this matchup, as a victory would secure a 10th consecutive playoff appearance, while a loss would eliminate the Blue Bombers. BC has already clinched its playoff position and will start Kaidon Salter instead of Nathan Rourke. Salter has completed 22 of 44 passes for 330 yards and one touchdown this season, although his mobility remains a threat after he rushed for 160 yards against Winnipeg in Week 9.

The Bombers have won their last three visits to BC, while Zach Collaros owns a 14-4 career record against the Lions. Winnipeg’s urgency and BC’s quarterback decision support backing the visitors to win by multiple possessions, despite the risks associated with a substantial spread.

Edmonton Elks vs. Saskatchewan Roughriders Under 51.5 Points (-110, FanDuel)

Both teams are expected to rest key offensive starters, making the under an attractive option. Saskatchewan will start Jack Coan instead of Trevor Harris, with the backup quarterback entering his first CFL start having attempted just two passes this season.

Edmonton, which has already clinched first place in the West Division, is expected to sit Cody Fajardo in favor of Taylor Powell. The Roughriders will also be without leading receiver KeeSean Johnson and running back A.J. Ouellette, while Edmonton could rest several important offensive contributors, including Austin Mack and Justin Rankin.

With both offenses potentially operating without their established playmakers, sustained scoring drives could become difficult to generate, supporting a relatively low-scoring contest.

Ottawa Redblacks vs. Hamilton Tiger-Cats Hamilton -4.5 (-105, BetMGM)

Ottawa finally snapped its 22-game losing streak with a dramatic 40-39 victory over Toronto in Week 20, but that result also highlighted its defensive vulnerabilities. The Redblacks allowed 39 points despite facing an Argonauts team that had already secured its playoff position. Rookie quarterback Bryson Barnes threw for 339 yards and two touchdowns while also adding 62 rushing yards, but repeating that performance on the road will be a massive challenge.

Hamilton has also been eliminated from playoff contention, although the Tiger-Cats should benefit from playing their regular-season finale at home. Ottawa’s injury report lists defensive backs Dionte Ruffin and several defensive linemen as unavailable, further weakening an already vulnerable unit. Those defensive concerns support Hamilton’s chances of winning by at least five points.
