Raymond James has recruited a team of advisors in Southwest Florida to its Financial Institutions Division, the unit dedicated to bank and credit union advisors. The team, which manages about $700 million in client assets, joins the investment program of Pinnacle Financial Partners from Truist Investment Services.

The team is led by advisors Darrell Brown, Mark Taylor and Jonathan Shaw, and it operates as Brown, Taylor, Shaw & Associates. They’re joined by Client Service Associate Erin Powers-Westendorf.

The team has joined Pinnacle Asset Management, a division of Pinnacle Financial Partners that uses Raymond James Financial Services for brokerage services.

“Pinnacle and FID share a long and successful history of supporting advisors with the resources, technology and capabilities they need to serve clients at a high level and grow their practices,” said Oliver Mansour, South division director of FID, in a statement.
