Dubai has expanded its championship golf offering with the official opening of Emaar South Golf Club on 5 October 2026.

Located in Dubai South, the venue is the fourth golf club in Emaar Hospitality Group’s portfolio and features an 18-hole championship layout designed by European Golf Design.

The par-72 course measures 7,278 yards from the black tees and is arranged in two loops of nine holes. Set within the landscapes of Dubai South, the design aims to test players of varying abilities while remaining accessible to a broad range of golfers.

Practice facilities include a dedicated driving range, chipping greens and putting greens. Membership includes unrestricted access to the driving range. The contemporary clubhouse houses locker rooms, a golf shop operated by E-Golf and a restaurant managed by Maison Mathis.

Hakan Keskin, leader of hospitality at Emaar Hospitality Group, described the opening as a significant addition to the group’s leisure portfolio: “This is more than a new golf course; it is a thoughtfully designed destination that brings together championship-level sport, quality hospitality, and a strong sense of community. We see Emaar South Golf Club as a place that will appeal not only to passionate golfers, but also to residents, families, and visitors seeking a premium leisure experience in one of Dubai’s fastest-growing communities.”

Emaar South Golf Club joins Emaar Hospitality Group’s existing sports and leisure collection, which includes Dubai Hills Golf Club, Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai, Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, Dubai Marina Yacht Club and Creek Marina Yacht Club.

In addition to regular play, the club will host tournaments, competitions, corporate events and society golf days. Future plans include membership programmes and golf academy initiatives.

The club is situated within the Emaar South community, approximately 10 minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport and close to Expo City Dubai, positioning it as a convenient destination for both local players and international visitors.
