Jake Paul is heading back to the ring.
The former YouTube star is set to fight on Christmas Eve in Dubai, he announced on Thursday.
“I’ve spent years proving people wrong, taking risks and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I’d face. Nothing that’s happened has changed my belief in myself or what I’m working toward. I’m hungrier than ever,” Paul said.
Paul, 29, last fought last December, when he lost to two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and broke his jaw.
An opponent for his next fight has not been announced, though Paul indicated that it is in the works.
“We’ve got plenty of names on the list; let’s see who signs the contract. Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town, and somebody’s getting knocked out,” he wrote.
Paul is 12-2 with seven knockouts in his boxing career.
