It’s that time of the year again. The Christmas Book Sale is returning to the Toronto Public Library this November.

Kicking off Nov. 19 and running until Nov. 21, the three-day book sale will take place at the Toronto Reference Library’s Beeton Hall.

At the sale, reading enthusiasts can peruse through hundreds of fiction and non-fiction books, including art books, children and youth books and magazines. There will also be DVDs, CDs, classical CD sets and more available for purchase.

“Perfect for the gift-giving season, find deep discounts on books, CDs, DVDs and other pre-loved items at our annual Christmas Sale,” the annual event’s host, the Friends of Toronto Public Library, South Chapter, shared on its website. “Fiction, nonfiction, art books, cookbooks, children and youth books — there’s something for everyone.”

Day one entry will cost $2, but admission for day two and three of the sale will be free. All proceeds support Toronto Public Library programs.

On Nov. 19, the sale will run from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Nov. 20, stop by from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The final day of the sale on Nov. 21 will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Toronto Reference Library’s Beeton Hall can be found at 789 Yonge St.

For those who can’t make it to the sale, the Toronto Public Library also runs two bookstores, called BOOKEnds North and BOOKEnds South. Both are staffed by the volunteer organization Friends of the Library.

BOOKEnds North is located on the concourse level of the North York Central Library and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Wednesday to Saturday. On Fridays, this spot is also open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

BOOKEnds South is located at the Toronto Reference Library and is open from noon to 6 p.m. from Wednesday to Friday and on Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m.
