The Springdale AI panel on Thursday, November 5, will bring Brampton founders and community leaders together to ask who gets a say in the design of tools for caregivers and people with disabilities. The free evening session runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Brampton Library’s Springdale branch, 10705 Bramalea Road.
The library listing describes a Brampton Tech Talks discussion presented with Brampton Venture Zone and the Brampton Innovation District. Organisers plan to discuss how people with firsthand experience can shape products for education, employment and caregiving, and how founders can bring accessibility into decisions about what to build.
Who’s speaking at the Springdale AI panel?
Marlene Spence, chief executive of The Chance Centre, is listed as moderator. The library also lists Sahil Gogna of Enabled Talent, a company the organisers describe as working on accessibility and employment technology. Those two perspectives connect the design of technology with the settings where people may use it, from youth programmes to the workplace.
