Artem Lobov has gone from considering Conor McGregor his best friend to his worst enemy. The two were inseparable in the early days of Conor’s UFC career, with Lobov a fixture in Mac training camps and Mac drafting Lobov onto The Ultimate Fighter when he coached.

But things went sour after the McGregor-Mayweather fight. Lobov says he was the one who proposed McGregor start a whisky company and brought a ready made plan to “The Notorious.” Years later he sued over McGregor allegedly refusing to pay out a promised 5% cut of the billion dollar business.

McGregor and Lobov would settle for an amount reported to be in the millions, but things got extremely ugly in the meantime. Lobov recently reminisced on how ‘old Conor’ was the most loyal but ‘new Conor’ screwed over all his old friends.

“We were brothers and had each others backs no matter what,” Lobov wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “That Conor is no longer here unfortunately. He was a real man with unmatched skillset in the octagon and a heart of a lion, now he is just a lying junkie. In my opinion of course. I sure miss my old brother.”

After launching a lawsuit against McGregor, “The Notorious” called for a gym fight to settle their grudge. According to Lobov, McGregor never showed up but did send lackeys to further threaten him … and his mother.

“I was at [Straight Blast Gym] every Tuesday and Thursday all these years, didnt see him anywhere,” Lobov said of accusations he ducked a gym fight. “He went on X, sent people to burn my car and threaten my 60 year old mother with a hammer, but never had the balls to call my number directly.”

“I am the godfather of always showing up, taught Conor how to be a real fighter. But he calls me out at 4am haha that’s junkie o’clock, I was asleep with me kids.”

Lobov isn’t the first person to accuse McGregor of sending people to intimidate his enemies. A woman who accused McGregor of assaulting her on his yacht had her car firebombed, and Nikita Hand’s home was invaded and her partner stabbed after she filed civil court charges alleging he raped her.

The woman from the yacht would end up dropping her case. A civil court found McGregor guilty of assault, but the judge would not allow the home invasion to be raised as evidence because no evidence tied McGregor to the attack.

Lobov has no interest in taking his accusations in front of a judge. He finished this series of tweets with his own legal disclaimer: “Allegedly of course,” he wrote.
