Two big completions by Trevor Lawrence helped the visiting Jaguars take a 17-3 halftime lead over the Ravens on “Thursday Night Football.” Baltimore’s offense, led by first-time starter Joe Fagnano, moved the ball on each of its first three drives but managed to get past midfield just once.

The Jaguars opened the game with a seven-play, 77-yard drive that was capped off by Bhayshul Tuten’s one-yard touchdown run. The score was set up by Lawrence’s 52-yard completion to Nate Boerkircher on the game’s second play.

The two teams then traded field goals and punts before the Jaguars extended their lead on a 50-yard scoring strike from Lawrence to Parker Washington with less than a minute left until halftime.

Lawrence threw for 197 yards on 9-of-15 passes in the first half. Jakobi Meyers led Jacksonville with 65 yards on four receptions. Fagnano went 7-of-11 through the air but for just 30 yards. Derrick Henry led both teams with 51 yards on 12 carries while lining up several times out of the wildcat.
