SAN BRUNO, Calif. – San Francisco’s Kaitlyn Sasadeusz led the charge in the Dons knocking off No. 18 Texas Tech and won West Coast Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. San Diego picked up conference weekly recognition for the second straight week as Chloe Walls earned West Coast Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KAITLYN SASADEUSZ, JR., F – SAN FRANCISCO
Kaitlyn Sasadeusz netted her first goal of the year at California last Thursday, and then three days later, she was the star of the match in San Francisco’s 2-0 upset victory over No. 18 Texas Tech. Sasadeusz opened the scoring with her first goal of the match in the 28th minute before following up with her second goal in the 80th minute. The pair of tallies proved to be all the Dons needed to outlast the Red Raiders.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – CHLOE WALLS, FR., GK – SAN DIEGO
In her first collegiate appearance, Chloe Walls got the start on Thursday against UC Irvine, preserving a clean sheet shutout victory with five saves, three of which were in one-on-one situations. In her second career appearance, the redshirt freshman started again on Sunday at UC Santa Barbara, notching another five saves with only one goal allowed in the 1-1 tie vs. UCSB.
