As the 2025 NFL regular season draws near, fantasy football managers are putting the finishing touches on their 2025 fantasy draft strategy. Identifying potential breakout stars remains a top priority — especially at running back, where depth charts can shift quickly and unexpected opportunities often emerge. In 2024, late-round sleepers like Rico Dowdle and Bucky Irving defied expectations, each surpassing 1,000 rushing yards after impressive training camp performances. This year, players like RJ Harvey (Broncos) and Jordan Mason (Vikings) are generating similar preseason hype, despite still flying under the radar in many fantasy drafts.

By staying on top of the latest 2025 fantasy football rankings, you’ll be better positioned to find hidden value and draft players poised to beat their average draft position (ADP). Whether you’re hunting for a 2025 Fantasy football top 150 you can trust, potential 2025 Fantasy football breakouts, sleepers, and busts, or position-specific 2025 Fantasy football rankings, be sure to see what the 2025 Fantasy football draft bible at SportsLine has to say.

Top 2025 Fantasy football picks, advice

The Fantasy football draft bible features White’s 2025 Fantasy football breakouts relative to ADP, including:

Bo Nix, quarterback, Denver Broncos: Nix was outstanding as a rookie for the Broncos in 2024, and finished the season as QB6 in CBS Sports’ PPR quarterback rankings. Denver added weapons for Nix in tight end Evan Engram and running backs J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey. With a season under his belt and a full offseason of work in Sean Payton’s system, Nix is set up nicely for another big year in 2025.

“I am sky-high on Denver this season (I have five Broncos on my sleeper and breakout rankings combined), as I think the team in general is underrated after Bo Nix elevated his game down the stretch last season. His pace over his last 10 games equates to 4,299 yards, 41 touchdowns and 12 interceptions as a passer, which is close to what we saw last year from Baker Mayfield, who finished as the QB3 behind Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow. He would rank higher, but asking him to finish as a top-four QB is challenging,” White said.

Xavier Worthy, wide receiver, Kansas City Chiefs: By the end of his rookie season in 2024, Worthy had proven to be more than just a speedy, trick play threat. The former Texas standout finished with 59 catches for 638 yards and six touchdowns during the regular season, but was a game-changer in Super Bowl 59, catching eight passes for 157 yards and two scores in the loss.

“Whether Worthy qualifies as a breakout by the end of the season may be partly determined by how much time Rashee Rice misses due to suspension, but Worthy showed last year what he can do as the primary passing-game weapon in the offense. After averaging 2.2 receptions on 4.8 targets with 27.3 receiving yards over his first nine games, the rookie’s average production jumped to 5.6 receptions on 7.9 targets with 56 receiving yards in his last seven regular-season games before emerging even more in the postseason and especially the Super Bowl (eight receptions on eight targets for 157 yards and two touchdowns). If Rice misses time at the beginning of the year and that late-season magic carries over, I’m not sure Worthy cedes the WR1 role once Rice is back,” White said. Get the full Fantasy football draft guide over at SportsLine.
