A WRESTLER bashed unconscious and left choking on his own teeth in a savage in-ring attack has begun a miracle recovery.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Veteran wrestler Stuart “Syko Stu” Smith has woken up after he was violently beaten up by fellow wrestler Raja Jackson<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The brutal attack has been described as \u201chorrifying\u201d by eyewitnesses.<\/p>\n

Against all odds, four days after being knocked out cold and sustaining severe head injuries, Stu has woken up and is on the mend.<\/p>\n

Jackson – son of UFC<\/a> icon Quinton “Rampage” Jackson – body slammed Stu to the canvas before pounding his head at least 20 times.<\/p>\n

The shocking beating was brought to an end when security and other wrestlers intervened.<\/p>\n

Fellow wrestler Douglas Malo – who helped break up the fight – told the Scaling Up Podcast he “got a whisper that something\u2019s not right and I might be needed to check a scenario and whether this guy is going to do a spot”.<\/p>\n

The now viral video of the attack is too distressing to show.
Malo said he “talked to the person up front with the radio and walked back to the ring”.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see the slam, I see the first punch and the second punch,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI kind of wish I would have just sprung on the slam.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou watch somebody you care about, he\u2019s a veteran and these are people who are supposed to love him and I\u2019m the only one on the outskirts to be told to watch this apparently,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

“I’m in there and trying to tell the guy to calm down and he’s trying to fight me – it’s all f****ed.”<\/p>\n

He added: “I’m not even fighting or being hostile and then you f***ing punch me in the f***ing eye after we’re breaking it up.<\/p>\n

“That’s why I punched you and you’re lucky I was tired from the match. What kind of f***ing person are you, you low-life clown?<\/p>\n

“You want clout so you beat up a guy that’s half unconscious.”<\/p>\n

Earlier in the week, Stu\u2019s brother Andrew shared an update on Smith’s health<\/a> following the incident.<\/p>\n

He posted: “Stuart is resting since he sustained severe injuries to his head. <\/p>\n

“He is currently conscious and able to talk but will have a difficult recovery ahead.<\/p>\n

“With all the media and\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0attention it\u2019s been hard to get back to everyone.”<\/p>\n

He continued: “Stuart Smith appreciates all the love and support. He loves\u00a0wrestling<\/a>, his wrestling\u00a0family<\/a>, and all his fans and supporters.<\/p>\n

“Wrestling has been a huge part of his life and he lives to put on a performance.<\/p>\n

“He\u2019s also just a regular guy with a life and family outside the ring. His wife Contessa has currently set up a go fund me for those wishing to donate.<\/p>\n

“We appreciate all the support during this difficult time, Thank you.”<\/p>\n

A\u00a0GoFundMe<\/a>\u00a0page to support his recovery<\/a> has raised more than $175,468 at time of writing.<\/p>\n
